Tonight is our 20th game. Everyone says wait for the 20th game to see where you stand. If we lose we are 9-10-1 and likely out of a playoff spot. From looking at the more sucessful teams in the league we are missing youth and speed. It's clear this team is not winning the Stanley Cup, so why keep the status quo? Does Murray not have to make some moves? There are a lot of teams, edmonton, calgary, new jersey, islanders, etc., that need to make some changes too. Now is the time. The salary cap is not an excuse to not make your team better.

I Cussing despise that Fisher line! You turn Alfie into a Cussing grinder, for christs sake. Now that I've seen all our skill loaded on to one line, I see why so many called for this team to miss the playoffs. We're a top-4 of skill and a bottom-8 of grinders or less. Not good.

And if they win, they're 10-9-1 and likely in a playoff spot...and since starting 1-4-1, they're 8-5-0 right now with two highly excusable losses.

I'm not too high on this roster, but they will be in the playoff race. At that point, a hot goalie and a little chemistry is enough to win a series or two. Are they a cup contender? I don't think anyone can look at them on paper or on the ice and say "yes". I think a little realism and acceptance would go a long way in this fanbase and it will help with not lambasting the coaches, players, and especially youth.

It's become all too clear that the second Chara walked, we became a rebuilding team that capitalized on an incredibly weak East to reach the Finals, and rode that momentum/familiarity to a 13-1 start the next season.

yeah we aren't a contender but i'm seeing alot of players under perform.
regin has been trying but not finding the back of the net. foligno is another. michalek, fisher, big rig, kuba(well he hasn't been around). karlsson is hot/cold. so within the team i see alot of room for improvement.

of course as i type this 2 goals go in Facepalm

IMO i think if you ca you bring a guy like butler and locke. if they perform it puts the hot seat under the under performing ones.
maybe make a trade.

Bad performance by a bad team. No other way to put it. Sens have zero confidence when they trail a game, it's kinda sad.

With the entire weekend to practice, I think Monday's game will be a real indication if this team can turn it around or if it's the same old same old.

Well enough is enough. Our offense has completely run dry and our defensive coverage and speed makes me sick. It's time to reunite regin-spezza-alfie IMO. If fisher doesn't improve then they need to call up someone from the ahl. Michalek and him have been such utter disappointments. Carkner and campoli have been awful too (bad game for both)

And now, I think you HAVE to go with leclaire on Monday night. Kings lost to the sabres, so it's not impossible to beat them

Agreed. Elliott is a streaky goalie and he's in the middle of the wrong kind of streak right now. Hopefully Leclaire gets a couple to get his feet under him.

Clouston is starting to piss me off. He should have started Leclaire last night. I think last night is the first time this season he's used a timeout to settle the boys down... idiot...
