Addition by subtraction?

It's just a coincidence. It's just a coincidence. It's just a coincidence.

Interesting notes:

Spezza also returned last season against the bruins in those highlights. Deja vu pls?

Although they 'solved' Tim thomas last season, they still have no answer for him at sbp where Thomas loves to play. That is scary

Chara is the leader in sog for the bruins?! Ahhhhh!

The senators gaa is garbage. Sooner or later, they need to hold a team to less than 2 goals

Senators marketing department fails here. Why have military appreciation when everyone is in Halloween mode? This could have been halloween night and closer to remembrance day could have been cfa night.

Oh and just learned that the sens have killer 5-0-1 record on cfa night

Michalek out for a week according to Mendes.

When is this team gonna get a break with the goddamn bad luck?

Cuss that sucks! Who replaces him now? Just can't buy a break this season.

Regin-Spezza-Kovalev will be a unit tonight.

You mean like November 11th against the Canucks?

Facepalm And it's too late to bring anyone up. We've got enough bodies, but I'm wondering if Shannon's size would be of more use in the press box against Chara and his kind. Unless he can skate between his legs?

So who moves up to play Michalek's spot on the top line? Depth chart shows Foligno and Shannon as the next two, but I wonder if Jarkko Ruutu, as a veteran, would provide a better fill-in? I really, really want to say Foligno but he just hasn't shown much. How do you put him on the top line? Honestly, Shannon deserves it more, and maybe with Fisher there doing the crashing and banging there will be enough room for the little guy?

Still nothing on the starting goalies. It's almost lunch time. When does Clouston usually make up his mind -- sorry, I meant, when does Clouston usually willing to tell Brennan that he's made up his mind?

I have a sneaking suspicion that Elliott is not 100% and Lehner (flu and all) just might get that start.

Damn! Spezza is in but Michalek is out at least a week with tendinitis in his surgically fixed knee.

Regin - Spezza - Kovalev will be together on a line.

I wonder who has noted this kind of correlation before in the past? Hmmm....

Doesn't he also go on a rip when coming back from missing games?

When the team is rolling, yes. Let's hope for the best.

So, are we expecting this, in no particular order:

Regin - Spezza - Kovalev
Foligno - Fisher - Alfredsson
Ruutu - Kelly - Neil
Shannon - Smith - Winchester
