I had a good long weekend aside from the sleep deprivation of course. Going out and visiting family sure cuts into the nap times I usually get when I'm at home on the weekends 💤

Yeah... I was up to Ottawa this past weekend to visit family and friends... always a whirlwind of running around trying to catch up with everyone, see new houses and new baby's etc... madness. Need a day off from the long weekend.

Saw a guy mowing his lawn Thursday or Friday night, with an electric mower in the pouring rain. I guess he had plans for the weekend Smile

rained most of the weekend here, the good weather is coming on Thursday and Friday, 24 and 25 degrees respectively, dang lawn looks like a jungle.

out here in NL we call it May 2 4 weekend means we all pick up our own 24 case and go to the cabin for the weekend Cheers

It didn't rain much here, but it felt like winter was on its way back.

The lawn took about 3 1/2 hours on Saturday, brutal!

Yeah, back in the day it was one of the biggest booze-up weekends around... now we all have kids... can't do that anymore...

hahaha have you been to newfoundland? that doesnt stop them here its a little sad sometimes but people here always go boozing on may 24

Speaking of calling it the May 24 weekend, why the heck wasn't it on the May 24 weekend? The 24th is a Sunday and the 25th could have been the Holiday. :*:

The rules is that the holiday is observed on the Monday on or before May 24th. Strange, but it is what it is.

I was just happy for the long weekend, we don't have one again until July, that is way too long lol.
