Meh, this kind of thing happens all the time. I better see suspensions once a week from now on.
Also: can we call up Yablonski for next game to put LaPerrier in the ICU?

That's what I've been thinking since this happened. Kostopolous' suspension was DEFINITELY warranted...even though I haven't seen Ruutu's hit...the talk seems to be that it wasn't suspendable...
They better be suspending anyone that elbows or gives someone a head shot, whether they're called for a major or not...I want to see if Campbell is actually going to be consistent with this or if he's going to pick and choose.
I can guarantee that if this is actually going to be suspendable every time, Pronger is the next to go for a long long time. He'll miss half the season if this is how it's going to go. Should be interesting to see. Campbell has a hard on for Pronger as it is...we'll see.

I thought the Ruutu play meritted a suspension. That said, that play often goes unpunished. By that logic, he shouldn't have been, despite what he did was easily suspendable. He came flying out of nowhere with his elbow at face level. Brutal play.

I'd love to see Yablonski come up and mess up some Dung up. I wonder if he can skate a little better now..
