Did anyone hear Perry signed with Ottawa for 1 year, 1 million? Apparently it was on twitter 20 minutes ago?

Frank Seravilli apparently mentioned that Perry is close to signing a 1 year, 1 million dollar deal with a Canadian team and thinks it's us. So nothing solid.

Don't see it on twitter. Someone on HF just mentioned it too. I'll ask him.

I think that's the same rumour he posted a week ago. No new news it looks like.

I don't see how he fits in. He'd benefit Tkachuk, Abramov + but a lot of those guys are going to be in the minors with Watson and Glachenyuk taking up spots that would have otherwise gone to rookies.

The league may make an exception to carry more forwards so as not to introduce new players to the roster 'bubble' so if the Sens end up carrying say 3-4 extra forwards and they rotate these guys in and out of the lineup all year then I guess it make sense. Get them a few games but more importantly travel, practice and live with the pros will help for sure.

Yeah it looks like the roster is done for now. If they did expand rosters there will be lots of unsigned free agents they could grab if really needed

I really don't see where he fits either.

Didn't Garrioch say he thinks the roster is set, now? From Melnyk's mouth to Garrioch's pen - that's how it works, right?

Yupp. Another two years at least before they really start making noise. Minimum. Though I think regression in the division and an improving Sens team will lead to the playoffs sooner than we think

But, he also loves Brannstrom, right? That's a pretty big piece from the Stone trade and he was super stoked to get him.

Who knows...reilly might end up being a 7th d.
