They played well. Hope both players are ok.

They lost this game because they couldn't finish on the pp, Logan brown would have really helped that and soon we'll have some much higher level talent where Ennis missed twice.

Brown was taken out as a precaution. Hopefully just a bruise and he'll be good to go next game.

But given his past history ...

Can someone tell me why Goloubef is on the roster? Happy for him making NHL money but, really, why?

If - as rumoured - Dorion was making a deal to move Ryan, this should not stop him. I really like Ryan, but you can't have $7.5M sitting.

Ken Warren is reporting that Ryan hear asked for a trade. First he felt sad. Then he put on a brave face to support his team. Then he went full-on Denis Lemieux and said "Trade me right f****ing now!"

He never reported that

I think that makes a gms job easier in this day and age. You want a trade? Fine, your agent will deal with it. Bring us options and we'll shoot them down until there's one we'll take.

No one will take ryan for that money, and I dont want to package a pick with him, so I doubt it happens eright now

Yeah, I don’t see a world where we can trade Ryan without retaining money or giving up something. Melnyk won’t retain money IMO and I hope they don’t part ways with assets.

Logan Brown is apparently week-to-week, which is pretty disappointing.

And it's hilarious that Bobby has requested a trade. As others have said, ain't no one taking him unless we pay a premium to get rid of him, which would be pointless.

Lafreniere sounds legitimately generational. Boy oh boy.

Well, yeah, he would do as well. I place a little more value on Byfield given that he's a C and that fits our organizational need. But I certainly wouldn't argue that the Sens should pick him at #1 over Lafreniere.

I ran the tanknation simulator today - Ottawa with the 1st and 3rd. It really does sound like the top eight are all high-end guys but man, 2 of the top 3 would be insane.
