TRADE DEADLINE BONANZA 2019!

I think we have a real chance to grab a first for ceci at this point. Not a lot of guys on D available. I hope dorion is fielding calls.

Also on the Duchene trade. The fact that Columbus fans are overwhelmingly happy make me even more unsure about it.

Is anybody shocked that Garrioch reports Chicago has interest in Dzingel only to be moved to Columbus? Was there ever a bigger mouthpiece for the org to float stuff to the media? What a tool

Yeah, Duclair is not really worth anything at this point, but I guess two 2nds is OK.

2 2nds is a home run for Dzingel. They can be packaged up to get a 1st, or packaged with assets for an upgrade somewhere else, or we could use them. It's not like Columbus has a sun bright future, I dont really get this move for them, but it's a solid haul for a player no one cares too much about in Ottawa

Duclair is an NHL player so one of the call-ups can go back to Belleville.

Might as well play him every game and give him lots of minutes the rest of the way to see if he can somehoe reclaim himself. I know he has had many coaches but torts is a Front Bum and I could see him maybe doing better if he’s here next year with a guy like Troy Mann

Torts, Quenneville, Tocchet > Boucher. I don’t want Duclair near whatever is left of the Sens and dont have faith in Boucher for anything. Troy Mann next year, sure. But that is a lot of Duclair touching our team in the meantime. I would’ve rather had just the two picks.

This deadline would be massive if we can somehow get Stone signed.

And lagoon just wanted to say I’ve been enjoying discussing things with you this year (and everyone else). Not trying to be sappy and lame haha, I know we’ve had differences in the past but lately I think we and this board in general have been gelling and the talk has been great.
