Take this for what it's worth, but Dean Blundell on twitter said the Stone deal was done. Posted about 3 minutes ago. Apparently he's an old Toronto radio host. Don't take much stock in it but it is coming from a 'verified' account. Doesn't mean he's right though.

Well with that goaltending maybe they shouldn’t... plus if someone pays lots for him resigned then they probably don’t have a chance. Maybe they get Simmonds?

Yeah. Simmonds might be attainable. Forgot about him. As for goaltending I think Smith is getting hot at the right time. If you look at his stats just over his last 5 games he's right where he needs to be.
