Dano is also a mid-level prospect at this point. A late 1st and Niku is really what the Sens will be getting

Either way this is the bar I've set. I'll be content with those returns. Any worse and I'll be upset. Any better and I'll be elated

Agreed. But I am still hopeful that it won't be Melnyk for much longer. He can't survive another lockout. He's best to sell sometime next season or as soon as we hear what happens with LeBreton

I also like 5-6 prospects out of NYI. I'd be happy with one of Dobson/Wilde/Quenneville and Bellows

I’d add Golyshev and Sorokin too, but Russian.

Not caring about his struggles this season, not too many prospects have Wahlstrom’s release as well.

He's a huge prospect player for the jets, just cant see any scenario where they trade him for a rentalent. That goes for roslovic too imo.

If dorion can get either that's a huge win. Try to get them to throw in poolman too.

If the Sens are losing one of the big 3 plus Ceci they need roster players, not prospects coming back.

That's the sad part. We've got lots of prospects work upside just as good or better than the roster players we are likely to get back. We'll be the deepest team for top 9 players and nothing on the top 3.

I love how Tkachuk and White have come along, but neither one is really a top line player. Maybe Batherson or Brown will develop into one. Maybe Norris. Maybe the 2020 1st rounder. Lots of maybes.

They have not clinched yet but it's a safe bet the Sharks are not missing the playoffs, which means we get their 1st rounder in 2020. If Karlsson then bolts (heh) to Tampa in the summer the Sharks could conceivably be a lottery team next season.

I'm not chest in the conditional 2nd rounder if Karlsson re-signs. It says that becomes a 1st rounder if they teach the finals. Is that a 1st if Karlsson re-signs and they reach the finals, or if they reach the finals regardless of Karlsson re-signing?

Not sure on those details but I think it's if he signs OR if they reach the finals.

I’d be extremely shocked if Tkachuk and Batheron are not too line players for years. They both have the it factor and the skill. Batherson is dominating the AHL.

I think we’re in good shape if Stone signs. If not it will take longer to build the team.

It's literally all about the prospects. They might get a Boedker style throw in, but they're clearly gonna burn this down. AMD that's a shame because I echo the sentiment that if we were to sign duchene and stone we'd be really competitive really soon.
