That http://www.rosterresource.com/nhl-ottawa-senators/ has a lot of info at a glance. Of the likely starting roster the Sens have 11 Canadians in their top-12 forwards, 4 more in their top-six defensemen, and one goalie. So 16 out of 20. Grapes would be pleased. Also, in their lineup, they have 4 of their own 1st round picks and 7 more from rounds 3 and later. They have *zero* of their own 2nd round picks -- remember I mentioned a while back how they haven't done very well picking in the 2nd round?

My daughter is at the Fan Fest with a friend. Bought her ticket online because they said it's cheaper than at the door. Mt $10 ticket ended up being $15.75 online after all taxes/fees ($15 at the door all in). Oh, well, at least she gets a bobblehead because we got the ticket early. Well, no, it's the first 5,000 or whatever through the door. I dropped them off a few minutes after 9 and it didn't look like anywhere near 5,000 people yet, so I think she'll get one, but I could see someone else being in a similar situation, getting there for the scrimmage at 11:30 and missing out on the bobblehead.

Dorion says he expects Stone to be in the lineup on opening night.

Now, not to be a Debbie Downer, but MacArthur got dinged in a pre-season game, was in the lineup on opening night but only made it to game 4.

Sounds like Stone's injury is not serious. They are not even sure if it is a concussion and are just being cautious. Nevertheless, he'll miss some of the camp which is never good.

With Lazar, the swelling of his spleen had decreased significantly; so may not be a long-term thing. Just hoping he didn't pass it on to anyone.

Oh, F**K!

MacArthur got blind-sided by Sieloff. Ryan jumped him. Didn't look good. In fact a few seconds after I heard it on the radio my daughter phoned in from the scrimmage to tell me. Must have been pretty bad.
