Yeah might make some sense for the third line except that he's listed as LW and C. When our needs would be RW... I don't know. Maybe if they plan on trading smith.

There's gonna be some delusional Montreal broadcasters crying like babies if this happens. One guy said he would pass on Draisaital the 4th and Nurse.

Am I the only one thinking that Draisaitl and a 4th for PK would be a home run for Montreal? Open up a ton of cap room, fix the very apparent fracture in the room. Talk was the room was divided over the captaincy. Question is, who was backing PK and will those also have to be moved? Really, they should have given Gallagher the 'C' like The Flower suggested. I don't know if Pacioretty really wanted the 'C' (not like Subban did) and he hasn't really done a very good job since getting it.

I think it's very solid. I like draisatl and the 4th will be a heck of a player. I'd insist on Eberle too though, but I'm greedy.

PK would love playing in a high-octane offense. But I still think Draisaitl and a 4th is overpayment.

I don't know about overpayment, but it's a nice start.

You can't forget that PK is making a ton of money for a long term and I don't think the cap is going up next year. So his contract is going to become a bit of an albatross.

Agreed. Talented but individualistic and selfish. Trading him would help Montreal so I hope they keep him.
