Arena football.

CFL = Continuous Flag League.

Hank with another CFL record today, most completions in a season.  Weird game, the defense and special teams weren't great after the first quarter, but still a win and the finish the season leading the East.  Bye into the East final.

I actually watched some of this game. It was a continuous stream of errors and penalties that was semi entertaining.

First Q the RedBlacks completely outplayed the TiCats. Second Q, the reverse. Mistakes everywhere, including the refs. That offensive pass interference that went against the TiCats was embarrassing, but then the RedBlacks were denied a good fumble recovery because they ruled it an incomplete pass (later in the game same type of play, the other way, was ruled a fumble). That QB for Hamilton looked a bit like Shrek. Actually, *a lot* like Shrek.

Games that are full of mistakes can be very entertaining.

Anyhow, East Finals, here we come. Hopefully they play better, though.

So my kid is going to be operating one of the cameras at the Fury payoff game this afternoon. I guess that means they are not going to be on SNet or TSN. LOL. Community cable for a playoff game of a pro club. Apparently the South Side is sold out.

Game has gone in to extra time. Guess I'll be picking him up a little later than expected. They started at 11 for a 3PM game and he'll probably be done around 8PM. "Volunteering". At least he gets pizza out of it although today they should feed them lunch *and* supper.

pretty good time for the jeff hunt group and td place, both the teams advancing far into the playoffs. It's great for the city to have some other teams to talk about.

I'm hoping the fury can win just so they get another corporate sponsor on their jerseys instead of heart and freaking crown.
