I think his approach was that it fills so many organizational needs for Phoenix (cap floor, filling out a roster, help on D), but clearly it's a tsn comment section trade proposal. "Here are all of the pieces we no longer have a use for, now you send us back something extremely valuable."

It sure is. I believe that promotion made room for Don Boyd to move into a full-time role as well. I work with a close friend of his.

Yah, if Edmonton does something insane or anyone else for that matter and offers up a package for Anderson you can't turn down then obviously you do it but Anderson won't be traded for picks and prospects if it ever happens.

We also better hope that Lehner doesn't go on to become awesome (like I think he will). That could end up being the lasting impression people have of Murray's stamp on this team, unfortunately.

T.Murray is gone, don't worry.

If they can move Lehner for a pick anywhere between #21 and #33 I think it's pretty close to fair value... maybe a prospect or another pick (2016) to make it even but that's pushing it I think.

They were going to move him for Nash 2, 3 seasons ago so again, they have no problem trading him. He is disliked in that room in a big way and that's reason enough to trade that player.

They should have no problem trading him or any player of they're getting an upgrade.

If they trade him because he's disliked, which who knows if that's true or not, then Hoffman will be next because I know he's viewed that way by a lot of guys. You simply don't trade a guy for nothing for that reason though. Getting a second  would be an embarrassment.

People said the hawks players hated Patrick sharp. Cool, they dealt with it and won cups. Maybe it's time Ottawa players grow the Diddle out of the country club attitude that has our franchise back forever.
