It does because the team isn't as bad as they are playing, not even close. They have shown the ability to play with anyone at any time.

The second Phillips is out there with Karlsson, goal. Unreal and that is 100% on the coach.

The negative is too easy right now, Zibanejad and Hoffman have both looked really solid together.

If you go back and look at all the defensive breakdowns on that 2nd Islanders goal it's kind of ridiculous. ZBad, Karlsson and Phillips.

It's a sh*t show right now, the season could very well be over by the end of next week in terms of the playoffs. Methot coming back is about as pointless counting playoff revenue.

Maclean says they don't prepare well...well neither do you. His bags will be packed whenever we get a new gm.

They're gone to win Thursday for sure and then one on the weekend most likely. Getting Methot back is big.

There there has been a half a dozen other breakdowns that have not resulted into goals.

Yeah, because first games after a long road trip are automatic.  Especially with a long ceremony to start it off.

If their last 3 games are any indication they will not win that game nor the one on Sat. Sens are in serious trouble.

I don't think you understand the importance of the Alfie retirement to this group,especially our captain. This is the lift they need at the right time.

They were actually good in tampa but ran out of gas in the third.

Good ing is there are no expectations for this team now or coming into this season

I didn't know what to expect coming into the season, thought they played pretty solid hockey out of the gate... not sure what's happened since that St.Louis game but like I have said a few times the vets have completely let this team down.

They need to make a move and Smith is the guy to move right now.
