That's Methot, Neil, and Smith all on the IR, with Michalek coming off it today I think. That's space for 2 call ups, if we want them. Hopefully, Pageau and Puempel or Robinson will get their shot on Monday.

Phillips looking like he'll be a healthy scratch.

Neil and Smith both out, but Michalek is coming off the IR, so we have just 12 forwards. Maybe we have a call up or two at forward coming.

Michalek is eligible to come off the IR but he's not a center. I suppose they could just go with Turris-Zibanejad-Legwand-Lazar but I think/hope Lazar is headed to Team Canada. They have room now to bring Pageau up might as well do it so he has at least a few practices with the team before coming into the lineup.

Interesting that Lehner will get a second straight start. Pretty sure that MacLean would have gone right back to Anderson.

With Phillips skating as the extra I guess what Cameron said was just the external message. Unless he thinks BigRig needs a BigRest and not just one game. He'll make it back to the lineup sooner or later. Wouldn't even care if it was Monday, so long as he was on the third pairing.

One guy that has to be better for us is Turris.  He's -9, been getting cleaned out on faceoffs, and is ranked about 100th in points with 18 (only 4 goals).  His shooting % is also bad at 5.7.

I wouldn't say spectacular. In avatar size you don't see the edges, so it works well. This was done in MS Word.

To be fair, the team isn't playing that different under Cameron so far. They had a couple real strong efforts right before PMac got fired.

I'd be all for Pageau getting a look, but Greening and Condra have been pretty good too. Maybe waive Greening and callup Pageau?

I guess Methot is out til 2015?
