Do we really know what teams are on Spezza's list?
All Cdn teams (minus Tor & Mtl as Sens would not trade him there), Nashville, Florida, NYI, Columbus and now the Stars? That's 9, which team is the other? This is just an assumption, no one outside of the agent and Murray really know what teams are on the list.

I'd assume the Devils or Yotes would be the other team

Nothing really surprising there.  He has the team on hia list of places he won't go, deal with places he will go.

Seems like reference to Dallas being on Spezza's no trade list has been removed from that LeBrun article.

I will say this, I'm not happy about the amount of chatter that's been made public with all this Spezza trade business. All this blow by blow info and deals falling through... lotta specific details getting out... not sure what the game plan is there.

Don't worry so much about it. Whoever loses Stastny will be back on the Spezza train. If Chicago misses Stastny they'd be well off to make a run in a big way. St. Louis is dead if they don't. We'll see, but it'll happen.

I listened to the Bryan Murray interview twice and I think the media made it sound worse than it really was.

He did refuse but I got the impression from the media that Murray was pissed off with that, but that wasn't the case.

Il pisses that spezza isn't helping us but you can't blame him too much. they gave him that partial NTC and it's in his right. He's not saying trade me to only 2 teams. I just hope that someone gives us acceptable value in a deal.

besides we may not have to wait till july 1st either to trade jason. from what i understand FA can't sign with new teams till july 1st but they can agree on a who they will go to. so stastny could make his intentions known before then. hopefully that sends a few teams circling back.

Apparently a new list is coming from Spezza on July 1st. Then it's up to Spezza and his agent to tell me to not deal with any teams on the list.

No, he shouldn't. Also people don't realize that most likely him and spezza agent disucsss what he is going to say to the media.

Best case scenario is Chicago for Sharp. Although, I'm just fine with Berglund straight up. I like the idea of getting a Center that can be a perfect insulator for Zib. He's Swedish, he plays 200 ft. and is an easy fit as 3C when Turris and Zib are healthy and playing well. If Zib struggles or isn't ready for bigger minutes, I'm intrigued to see what Berglund could do in a more offensive system with top line, offensive minded linemates.

personally i think the ship has sailed on Berglund. we need another player.

as far as chicago is concerned whatever salary they take in for spezza we'll have to take out coming back. they're 700,000 under the cap and that's not a lot of wiggle room going into the season.
