Not exactly a rip, but clearly he's frustrated and does not understand why Spezza does not want to play in Nashville. I don't either to be honest. They are making some solid moves to improve.

At the end of the day, Spezza has a limited NTC so we can't be crapping on him for exercising his right. It Cussing sucks but it is what it is.

I would like to see the CBA adopt a rule when a player asks for a trade, their NTC/NMC/whatever is dissolved.

The one thing I can say for this, if Murray was asked about the Spezza trade situation all he had to say is that I had a trade done to a team on his no-go list that he wouldn't waive for.

He didn't have to come out to say it was Nashville.

But Poile is doing most of the damage in way of what he is saying.  He's pretty angry or should I say insulted.

Sounds like there is still hope that a deal goes through.

Also Colin Wilson is exactly the type of forward the Sens need. People want to cry about Stewart, well Wilson is close to being that and potentially better with a much better work ethic. Doesn't fight like Stewart though.

I thought he NT list was Winn, Edm, Cal, Van, Nas, Flo, NYI, Car, Col, probably the Devils or Buff. I don't think the Stars were on the list.

Stars are on his list. They better make that list public.

If Montreal or Toronto are on his list, move him there.

What is he thinking, both Dallas and Nashville would be perfect landing spots for him IMO.

What's his fascination with STL? I could see Dallas finishing ahead of them next year.

Everyone talks up St Louis as being a really good team. He is comfortable with Hitchcock who coached him at the World Championships. One thing he should remember is that St Louis' goaltending is weaker this year than last. He could have gone to Nashville with Rinne or Dallas with Lehtonen both much better than Brian Elliot.

I don't think Buffalo is on his list either? Mtl & Tor aren't but he's pretty sure Ottawa would not trade him to either place.

Odds are Spezza left off teams he assumed he wouldnt be traded Mtl, Buf, Bos, Tor...

Do we really know what teams are on Spezza's list?
All Cdn teams (minus Tor & Mtl as Sens would not trade him there), Nashville, Florida, NYI, Columbus and now the Stars? That's 9, which team is the other? This is just an assumption, no one outside of the agent and Murray really know what teams are on the list.

I'd assume the Devils or Yotes would be the other team

Nothing really surprising there.  He has the team on hia list of places he won't go, deal with places he will go.
