Glad it's out there, this is the 2nd time Spezza has asked so it's time he gets moved.

The other thing that is out there right now is Chicago going for Thornton... if that happens St.Louis will be paying out the a$$ for someone to play in that first line center role.

Spezza will bring back something solid and the Sens will be better right off the hop for it.

Is Chiasson a good enough return? Don't know much about his offensive potential.
What the Sens need is 2 players of his calibre.

Spezza having a limited NTC and requesting a trade is going to be the best thing that has happened t this franchise in a long time. They can finally build.

Anyways this just shows how pathetic of a player he truly is for the role he has played for the last decade. That statement is proof, down and dirty proof he can't be the guy and that's 100% the reason to trade him. He will never be the guy and the Sens already have their guy(s). Karlsson, Turris, Lehner... build around that.

In all honesty, regardless of what Spezza said, Bryan Murray should not say those kinds of things a couple weeks before he is traded. He should just say something like "Jason wanted to get a chance on a team closer to the cup contention".

He has his offers, who cares? I am glad he exposed Spezza a bit because I am sick of his fans backing him despite obvious short comings, attitude problems, and his problem with coaches. #F*** Spezza.

Really? This has been going on for years. Maybe after all of the crap he has put up with he's finally had it. I don't blame him at all.

But you see, last season it was the terrible defense and the setback in the goaltending a hell of a lot more than it was on Jason Spezza. But you guys won't agree with that.

Agreed. It makes the Sens look desperate to trade him and the return will be crap. Why can't the head office of this team keep it's freakin' mouths shut.
