Agreed. It makes the Sens look desperate to trade him and the return will be crap. Why can't the head office of this team keep it's freakin' mouths shut.

Here you go Sandy... that's what your captain is made of.  lol.

Really?  This has been going on for years.  Maybe after all of the crap he has put up with he's finally had it.  I don't blame him at all.

But you see, last season it was the terrible defense and the setback in the goaltending a hell of a lot more than it was on Jason Spezza.  But you guys won't agree with that.

Yeah, it was the defense and not Jason Spezza...

Guess it's easier to blame Greening than himself, right?

So 1 year as captain and he quits in his team? Explain that, please... I am all ears.

He has his offers, who cares?  I am glad he exposed Spezza a bit because I am sick of his fans backing him despite obvious short comings, attitude problems, and his problem with coaches.  #F*** Spezza.

It's not gonna be a big difference, but if there's 3 teams interested and all 3 of them question his character during the trade negociations then it lowers his value for sure man.

haha it's no secret... Spezza is going to a team to be the #2 center working on the 1st PP unit, nothing more nothing less.

After he threw Greening under the bus Murray just decided to take the wheel and run over the person who deserved it.

I am going to ask you an honest question... where the hell do you come up with this crap? In one breath Murray says he has 3 serious offers, in the next he says Spezza is bailing. You believe one, you don't believe the other... makes no sense.

Stop reading the crap all over the internet because truth is most fans know jack crap. As for this site... well a lot of what we said would happen has happened and our opinions on Spezza have been cemented based on what Murray said. Not a captain, not a go to guy.

It may not be a secret, but at least it doesn't need to be forefront when the trade talks start.\
Just an example: Blues GM: "Bryan, you said yourself he can't handle pressure, why would he succed here?" Murray: "in St-Loui, he won't have to be the go to guy"

OK, doesn't sound too bad, but it's better if the discussion doesn't even happen isn't it?

Anyway, looks like tons of teams are interested according to other team's writers on twitter.

Yeah I'd say there's no secret around the n that he needs to be insulated. Anaheim and stlouis know. Murray probably should have kept that to himself for a but though.

Even Dallas, he's the #2 center there.

Yup, teams want him and they all are competing with each other for him. Murray will get a good return.

Yeah I'd say there'll be 7 teams that get serious on this. Anaheim, stlouis, ny, Dallas abd at least 3 more we don't know about.

Nashville, Dallas, Anaheim, St.Louis will be the big 4 IMO. NYR gets in on everything. Chicago maybe... Edmonton and Calgary will have obvious interest but he's not going there. Vancouver might but highly doubt it.

Coming out and saying you want to keep him. Then throwing him under the bus by saying he doesn't want to be the scapegoat any more.

What happens if the returns are not what the Sens want and Spezza has to start the season in Ottawa after Murray letting this out?

Sometimes his mouth is as big as Melnyk. Why can't this organization keep it's mouth shut.

To me, it makes the team look desperate to trade him and the return will be lower than it should.

Letting this out, makes the team look like a 2nd rate organization... it is becoming.

That's the part that really doesn't matter.

Teams don't give a Diddle, spezza doesn't have a no trade clause, and a trade has already been in the works for months

Spezza is a 2nd rate player

It's not desperate when you've been laying the groundwork since the deadline. Even if it looks desperate it's going to happen, so if you want to lowball us you can go Diddle yourself.

I hope you're convinced that he's not the right guy to lead this club sandy. If you weren't before you sure as Dung should be now.
