LOL, that goal had nothing to do with Anderson. It was just a total fluke that could happen to anyone. Enough with the Anderson hate for god's sake. He played great for us last night, and was a wall in the shootout.

That was super early on in the game when I said that, like when they scored the goal early.  Kind of taken out of context by you there but it's true, he's let a lot of those in this year.

You said it was an awful goal by Anderson, and I say it wasn't. That's in context. You've been railing Anderson for a big portion of the season, so I figure it's only fair to give the guy some love when he has a good game.

He's had 2 solid starts, back to back.  No question.

A one off? He's had games like that all year. It's been a poor year other than the offense. Hope he steps it up big time next year or I will really question having him as our #1 going forward.

Just gonna disagree with this entirely.  Karlsson very rarely has games like he did last night even with his gaffs.  Last night was about as poorly as I have ever seen him play.

I'll stick with Karlsson for now, but would certainly like to see his defensive game improve a little next season. It can be a little tough to tell how good/bad his defensive game has been given the general status of the team.

If he's up against the post -- as he should have been, with Skinner behind the goal to his right -- then it hits his pad and falls down where EK can swat it away, or Andy drops on it. He was off the post and it wasn't because he was tracking Skinner going from one side to the other. Just a temporary lack of focus. I could see that if it was EK with the puck behind the goal, but when teh opposing team is in control of the puck you can't let up like that.
