6-0 this season without the captain

how many shootout wins would we have instead of losses this year if we'd have Hemsky from the start? probably a couple. might be in the playoffs....

Now look back at all the games we blew. Mtl game (1 point) , both games in Alberta, plenty more games we've blown...could be in the playoffs comfortably

Haha right...but let's not turn this into that. this was a pretty brutal game, Carolina had a terrible powerplay, and we had a lot of players trying to make the highlight reels

I thought Stone was great tonight....

Stone is relentless. A puck hound. Guys who are much faster with him don't give the effort that he does on the forecheck.

I haven't been real impressed with him until this latest call up, but he has been a lot better this time around.Wonder if there is room for him and Hoffman next year. IMO they are a lot better than JGP and DaCosta....

That line is hell to play against...damn. All three of them are relentless, it's amazing to watch. Turris is the best board battler since Sheifer.

He was awesome. I think he's well ahead of Hoffman at this point, and I like Hoffman a lot. I think they'll both be good players.

I was at the game. Talk about a dead crowd....about what I expected for a seemingly meaningless game against a bad opponent on a Monday night. Attendance was pretty bad too...if any of you can, do the team a favour and buy a couple tickets for the last couple games. Aside from last night the games have been pretty entertaining.

Carolina looked absolutely awful...I've told my buddy who is a Hurricanes fan that I would never want one Staal let alone two Staals leading my team...similar to having Spezza as Captain I guess.

Also, EK didn't have a very good game. He didn't look very focussed, and didn't take the opportunity to rush with the puck like he normally does. Seemed like a lacklustre effort for an important game. I wonder if he's injured.

Maybe they started to mentally check out in general a while back considering how far out we were... but amazingly enough, there is still a chance... crazy as it seems.

Think the flu is going around that team if I am not mistaken... he looked bad last night for sure but it's a one off.  Rest up and get ready for tomorrow.

LOL, that goal had nothing to do with Anderson. It was just a total fluke that could happen to anyone. Enough with the Anderson hate for god's sake. He played great for us last night, and was a wall in the shootout.

That was super early on in the game when I said that, like when they scored the goal early.  Kind of taken out of context by you there but it's true, he's let a lot of those in this year.

You said it was an awful goal by Anderson, and I say it wasn't. That's in context. You've been railing Anderson for a big portion of the season, so I figure it's only fair to give the guy some love when he has a good game.
