Thank goodness for my man, Chris Neil (and Zack Smith). I like the look of the team right now with the lines the way they are.

Obviously Da Costa isn't really cut out for NHL hockey. I like his drive and effort and stuff, but he's just getting pushed around too easily. He always pops right back up, but it's just not enough. He's not bad or anything, just not cut out for NHL hockey. I wouldn't mind seeing Petersson or Schneider get a call-up when Da Costa gets sent back down.

Poor Ceci got hosed on that tripping call in OT. Man. It was a TBay stick that did it.

Yeah, it was total BS. Cussing Denis Potvin saw it properly in real-time from the booth. If Denis Potvin is getting things right that the ref missed....you have problems. Thankfully the penalty didn't directly cost us the extra point, but it sure took away any chance of winning in OT. Just a brutal call.

You kinda knew we'd lose the shootout...Big Ben is pretty good at those.

Yeah, that's what sucks about it. Didn't cost us which was nice, but did it take a scoring chance away? We'll never know... Cussing refs.

Michalek has been fine and IMO pretty important that the 3rd line. He isn't more than that at this point in his career but he is useful enough. Goal here and there, decent shifts, he's fine.

The problem right now is anyone to play with Spezza, they need to find someone and why not give Peterson at least a look? His game is very much is the same mold as Alfie's was so IMO I think it would be a decent fit especially with the hockey sense he has. Give it up with Da Costa, it's not gonna happen.

Also Spezza had a solid game last night. His -2 was hardly on him last night if anyone watched the game with some sort of unbias opinion. Fact is he was the reason the Sens scored 2 of those goals and not the reason the 2 goals went in when he was on the ice. -19 is a nasty stat though. He keeps playing like that and things will turn around for him and that -19 next year will probably be hovering around 0 give or take which is exactly what you want.

I don't know how many setups he had from Zibanejad in front of the net the past few games but he should have gotten at least 5 more goals, easily. He hustles well but it doesn't show on the scoresheet.
