I appreciate the positivity. Not normally something I'm use to dealing with in the Sens fanbase. In fact, I'm normally generally positive when it comes to the Sens.

In this case, though I just think that they simply aren't playing well enough to be a playoff team. They've trended a bit in the right direction, but that's not saying much when you only score one goal against the worst team in the league when you should be desperate for a victory.

They were desperate on Monday night. Hard to play like that two nights in a row.

Buffalo has nothing to lose and any team can beat any team in this league. Last night, the Isles beat the Sharks on home ice.

Cowen's getting a hearing for his hit last night...I expect a 2 game suspension.

Taking 3 points on back to back nights tends to be a positive thing especially when the 2nd games is on the road.

Also, Spezza was horrible, making terrible decision after terrible decision.  Also, the ice was clearly bad in Miller's end in the shootout.  Watching Spezza's attempt, you can see the puck start bouncing out of nowhere on him as he moved in.

Also, we pretty much stink.  Unable to convert on numerous PPs, Buffalo's disallowed goal should have actually counter, and yeah, Cowen should be suspended a game or two.

What a Cussing stinker and Diddle YOU SPORTSNET YOU Cussing diddles.

I watched the game on Sportsnet, and saw the entire shootout. Could it have been your provider switching from one Sportsnet feed to another?

If the team were playing well right now, I'd be more inclined to be positive. The past two games, yeah, they've been better, but consistency has been a problem all season so far, so we'll see if they continue to improve. They ain't there yet. I think we were lucky to get one point last night, and the game against the Flyers could've gone either way. We barely scraped out points against weaker competition.

Sens have St Louis and LA soon...Pittsburgh...a back to back with Boston, all this month...they are not going on a run.

I dunno man...I'd say that the difference between Lehner and Anderson last night was that Lehner made a lot of very solid saves. One bad goal isn't supposed to sink you when it's the only goal you let in, but inevitably the Sens do something to Diddle up one of Lehner's starts.

If it wasn't for Miller, I think the Sens score 6 or 7 goals last night. Guy was unbeatable.

Now Cowen's out for how long? 2 games I would imagine. Call up Boro, or put in Gryba (boo!).

Holy cow. Damien Cox must feel justified this morning.

Anyone got video of the hit? I have yet to see it.

I knew right away we were looking at a suspension. Pretty typical head shot to be honest.

I dunno, I live in Stittsville and am with Rogers. I believe the game was on two Sportsnet channels at the same time (Sportsnet Ontario and Sportsnet East I think??). I can't recall which feed I was PVRing (pretty sure it was Ontario, channel 502). I assume most people watching live just flipped their channel to the other Sportsnet channel, but I didn't have that luxury since I was on delay watching it on my PVR.

I was thinking it may have been Rogers. As far as I can tell, it was only on Sportsnet East, and that's where I PVRed it from. My provider is Videotron though.

How often does a guy get a hearing and NOT get suspended? Ev, are you sleep deprived or something? You're normally not quite as wrong as you have been lately.
