Maybe on specialty cable.

That was a home ice win. Three Sens' shooters lost the puck and never shot. Coincidence or a shoddy job by the zamboni driver in one end?

Sens scored 3 times in a shoot out on 8 attempts. Can we have that Zamboni driver travel with the team?

it's not so much that i care or not about the shootout personally but it's two points in two nights that we could of had and right now we need them.

Miller stole that. Should be a good rematch Thursday.

Lehner is one of the worst shootout goalie I've ever seen. Doesn't really matter big picture but still

One thing that's for sure, Conacher is still brutal.  Yah, he was the guy that fed it over to Michalek last night but he was invisible for the other 59 mins and 59 secs.  Really hope that is a guy they can pawn off on someone because he is not an NHL player.

Even away from Ryan and MacArthur... Turris is by far the teams best center still and he's proving he can play with anyone at any time and his game doesn't change one little bit. It's pretty clear Spezza is a guy that needs to be supported from the start of the game to the end and even if he is looking a little better a large part of that is because he is being carried again.

Lehner was awesome even though that was a really bad goal that went in on him.

Lehner didn't have to do much in regulation, and then was terrible in the shootout. This should've been a regulation loss for Ottawa.

It was clear before this game, and is even moreso now...Ottawa is not a playoff team.

Meh, Lehner stopped 35 of 36 shots last night despite a weak one going in. The shootout is so irrelevant it's not even worth talking about, it's a gimmick that has long passed it's charm and should be done away with. There was nothing wrong with how Lehner played and a lot wrong with how the rest of the team couldn't score.

The Spezza line in the first looked solid then disappeared as per normal. Just what a Spezza line does I guess. He was pretty decent without the puck which is always nice but he didn't do a thing with it. MacArthur didn't do a whole lot either but was still noticeable. Ryan... esssh, hasn't been great the past couple weeks but that's what goal scorers do, they run hot and cold.

Anyways, amazingly the Sens are only 5 points out of a playoff spot and chances are they get to play one of Detroit or Montreal who they can beat... their game is improving and a lot of the teams in front of them are coming back to earth like Tampa and Toronto. The Sens 100% need to go on a run very soon but again as amazing as it is, they are not out of that playoff picture.

The goal Lehner let in was horrendous, and it's not like he had to make a bunch of big saves. If we're going to crap on Anderson for not winning games for us, we're going to crap on Lehner too. I love the guy, but he if he doesn't let the stinker in last night, we come away with a W.

Sens have St Louis and LA soon...Pittsburgh...a back to back with Boston, all this month...they are not going on a run.

Pretty sure another goal was called off where Spezza basically put it in the net himself, it all evens out.

you mean the LA we took to OT, and the Bruins we already beat this year?

The St. Louis who spend less $ than we do (lol budget).

Yeah, you're right, that schedule looks really favourable for us.

Also, St. Louis is spending $63.9M, we are spending $55.5M. I'm not great at math, but apparently neither are you.

Well somebody lied to me on the radio then.

The schedule looks favourable, you know why? We get up for the good teams in the East.

I appreciate the positivity. Not normally something I'm use to dealing with in the Sens fanbase. In fact, I'm normally generally positive when it comes to the Sens.

In this case, though I just think that they simply aren't playing well enough to be a playoff team. They've trended a bit in the right direction, but that's not saying much when you only score one goal against the worst team in the league when you should be desperate for a victory.

They were desperate on Monday night. Hard to play like that two nights in a row.

Buffalo has nothing to lose and any team can beat any team in this league. Last night, the Isles beat the Sharks on home ice.

Cowen's getting a hearing for his hit last night...I expect a 2 game suspension.
