MacLean is right when he says Hoffman doesn't need anymore playing time in the AHL, practicing every day, learning the system, becoming part of the team is more important to his "development" at this point then playing games in the NHL on a regular basis. I have no problem with that. He's refering to the Sens, not the Sabres when he says "We definitely should win..."

That is to say, I don't think he's insulting the Sabres, rather he's pointing out that this group should be able to win a couple, especially after their effort last night.

1-1 after 2. Sabres put a weird on in that sneaked through Lehner from the sharp angle.

This is a weird game. Sens have had a ton of quality chances, but can't get much past Miller. Lehner looks shaky, but he's been effective through two.

Also, Buffalo's announcers are really, really bad.
