The goals on Friday and Sunday night? Good goals that went in? No. Both 5 hole goals that were easily stoppable. LA goal? Easily stoppable. Anaheim goal in Anaheim is the only one where you can say "yah, that's just a great shot".tim1_2 wrote:I think the issue is a team-wide slow start...not an Anderson slow start. Too many quality scoring chances are being given up early by the team.NEELY wrote:Sure is and the game is about 10 times harder playing from behind. Team that scores first wins what? 75% of the time or more? Anderson is on pace and may have already set the single season record for first shot goals on a goaltender through 1 month of the season. He's just an unprepared as the rest of the team and maybe more so because he's the damn goaltender, he needs to stop the puck early and give his team the best chance.
2nd and 3rd periods Anderson is usually lights out but he's letting in way too many goals early on in games and it's not something that can be debated.
