That's a love tap. If that's Neil he gets praised. Not blaming the ref but it's a play that is let go 9/10 times

Spezza didn't cost them anything, they lost because they were outplayed by a wide margin.

Spezza was the reason for the 3rd goal, no question about it and not sure it's even a point that can be argued. He punched a guy in the head because he didn't like getting hit, the captain did what he wanted and cost his team the game.

Again, excuses for #19 over and over and over. He Cussed up, period.

Some good things, but a lot of really frustrating things as well. Needless penalties, inability to win big faceoffs, defence all playing fairly poorly. Karlsson was nothing tonight, Cowen handled the puck like a grenade a lot. I realize the Sharks are far superior, but without Lehner it's a much different story.

Tidy up for tomorrow please.

It can be argued because it was hardly a punch.

Again, you hate Spezza.

Change #1 is getting SDC out of the lineup. Too soft, doesn't win any draws, and is not needed. Derek Grant would be a better option as a 4th line centre.

Did Spezza punch a guy in the head? Yes or no? Did the score because of that penalty? Yes or no? Does me liking or disliking Spezza have anything to do with those event? Yes or no?

Please answer those questions before posting another stupid comment.

No he didn't punch a guy in the head, yes you hating Spezza causes you to put all the blame on Spezza and nobody else, especially Karlsson who was awful.

Please stop acting holier than thou.

2-2 game. A smarter player would have thought twice before even trying. And we're talking about the captain here.

Ah, Spezza isn't smart. Time to deal him. Garbage player and garbage captain.

lol, so he didn't punch a guy in the head? And me liking or disliking Spezza caused Spezza to take a penalty in a 2-2 hockey game where the end result was a goal? Hahahaha, keep going dude.

Acting holier than thou? With comments like this one it's not hard to be.

You don't have a leg to stand on here in terms of what you are trying to argue. Might be time for you to go to bed because you are clearly tired and must have watch the Montreal game.

The Spezza penalty was just one problem. We were outshot 50-23.

Not saying the Sens wern't the 2nd best team tonight but fact of the matter is the captain took a needless, selfish, stupid penalty in a 2-2 game on the road and they scored. Lehner played well enough to get a point despite being out shot like that and it was all for not because someone went full retrd.

It wasn't very smart by Spezza.  Mac will continue to teach him, not the end of the world, but not a fantastic example really.

The problem is compounded by the fact that they're much better and we couldn't afford that penalty at that time. Then Turris can't win a draw and we get burned. No one could win a damn draw. Correct me, but I think championship teams win faceoffs to the tune of around 55-60%.

A lot of guys did. Lehners penalty = exactly the wrong time to be taken.
