Anderson was still all over the place and truth be told the Sens were the better team tonight for the majority of that game. That 1st goal doesn't go in and that 1st period doesn't go to crap. Anderson has to be better.

I would think Lehner gets the start on Saturday night.

Well...i guess I should be happy...but I'm not. We should have won that game. Andy allows too many goals, sens take too many penalties. Our pk has to be the worst in the league

He did what he had to do after that disastrous first I thought. I would imagine he's back Saturday and Lehner Sunday or vice versa I guess.

Two of the PP goals allowed were 5 on 3, so that's not the end of the world. We were pretty lucky to get a point out of this one. Ryan's goal was a snipe job. We should play Pageau more.

Lucky to get a point out of this one after that disaster of a first period.

We look very young. Still Cussing great to watch though. Philips and Methot look like they're still in summer mode. Karlsson is back.

Didn't catch this one but good comeback. SDC didn't produce tbough, might have played well however

All? I must admit, I only saw a bit of the first and didn't see what led to the two 5-3s but I watched the comeback, and to call *that* play with 90 seconds to go in a tied game, after all the hooks/holds they let go the other way was ridiculous.

I'm beginning to wonder though when Lehner will come in.

Maybe, maybe not but it was a penalty and if he falls there or helps it along just a little bit it's an easy call. If nothing else he didn't dive but it was obvious MacArthur got his stick in between his legs and by the book that's a penalty. Sens have themselves to blame for taking all of those penalties, that's it. The reffing on Saturday night was way worse than last night.

He did play well. Won some puck battles down low in both zones, responsible with the puck, scoring chances, and created chances. Not sure if he got a point or not but no reason to take him out of the lineup next game. Kassian played well too and was a big reason Pageau opened up the scoring for the Sens.

Anderson was absolutely the weakest link on the team last night. Not a great game.

Karlsson is so great to watch and makes everything look so easy. Guy is everything to the Sens at this point.

Both were 5-on-3 were they not?

Edit:

Sorry, both regulation PPG were 5-on-3. The 4-on-3 in OT was, again, an uncommon shorthanded situation.

So Corvo gets 25 seconds on the PP and they score. Hmm ...

I've been critical of SDC, but he was instrumental in that come back. Very strong on the puck, won a massive faseoff, almost scored twice - including being robbed once. Thumbs up.

I'd also been critical of Pageau. I thought he had made some critical mental errors early, but he too was full of pep.

Greening fought the puck a lot though.

Oh and Corvo was solid for most of the night as well. Have to say that between him and Wiercioch there's a nice parter for Karlsson on the pp.

If Paul MacLean is one to push buttons he might start Lehner Saturday to push Anderson a little. Seems to have worked before.
