i think it's the 3rd time i get blocked from garrioch's twitter account. just commenting there isn't a buffet table on one of his pictures. the man does not have a sense of humour.

I liked his game when he was with us as well. Nothing that isn't relatively easy to replace, but still, he works hard and can produce some offence.

Season could be over before the home opener.

Cowen is dead weight right now. He needs time to get his game to an AHL level.

K everyone is putting all of this on the D but fact of the matter is A) they are getting no support from the centers down low and the wingers can't get the puck out. B) The opposing team has opened up the scoring in the last 4 games, 2 of them on the first shot. Anderson needs to be a lot better off the hop.

Yah, the D need to move the puck quicker and with a little more conviction but this is a team problem right now in their own zone and even in the neutral zone.

The biggest problem is penalties... there have been very few penalties called this year so far where I said to myself "that's an awful call". 75% of the penalties taken are easily avoidable by being disaplined and by moving their feet. This team should probably spend less time at the bars and more time in the the video room and that starts with the captain... he might want to stop banging whores in the bathroom of the Cabin as well.

I've said a few times that it's a team defence thing, but damn, when the D gets a chance to get it out, it's disgusting to watch.

Also seriously doubt Spezza - with a baby - is anywhere near a bar 'banging whores'. It just doesn't happen. Ask me about going out with a new baby - no dice.

No dice?  He's a professional athlete dude.  I think I have proven in the past what I say about some of these NHLers is more than accurate.  You can choose to believe me or not like I have said a million times before but I have a proven track record.  He's not the only one who is like that but it doesn't make him any less of a douche.  I hadn't seen or heard from him in a while until that night which wasn't that long ago, there were about 50 people that saw, lol, so you can ask around... could also ask the new herpe case.

Either way, this guy is going to be an absolutely brutal captain.  Writing is on the wall right now.

Can we wait until perhaps more than 5 games into his tenure as captain before anointing him a failure? Who really cares anyway...the captain of the team is a word, the rest of the players need to know exactly what to do and when to do it. They've fought their whole lives to make the NHL, they're professionals, they'll be fine. Plus, Mac would never stand for BS in the room, again, let's wait and see how things shake out.

I understand that, but at the very least he has a slight excuse not having a real training camp. He'll be fine. Not sure if it'll be against Phoenix or if it'll be on the homestand, but we haven't seen the talent of Spezza yet obviously - and it won't be long.

If he did cheat though, he's about to go through a crap of a divorce. What woman would put up with that?

lol bet money on it when his career is done and like a lot of wives of pro athletes, she gets rid of him. Pretty much what happens to 50% of those athletes. The women who stay with them are just as bad... a lot of them just take the money while it's good then take 1/2 after the status of being married to a professional athlete is over.

I love it how NEELY is so "100%" right all the time. You've proven nothing. Just lots of accusations and whenever we ask for proof (pictures, corroborating testimonies) we get zip. Yeah, 50% of pro athletes' marriages end in divorce and the puck bunnies who marry them are heartless whores and unfit mothers. Right. 50% is pretty much a statistic in the general population (although I think this includes "common law" which, IMO, is not the same thing as marriage with witnesses and vows. I realize that 84% of quoted statistics are made up on the spot but still. NEELY, show proof or show restraint.
