That is a tough question. Don't like Yakupov at all, I'd rather someone like (for example) Loui Eriksson.

Rather have a player like Backes. We don't have anyone like Backes, Brown, Callahan, Dubinsky, etc. Warriors with both offensive and defensive prowess, size, toughness, clutch, leaders, etc.

That is what his team needs, and hopefully Lazar can become one but we need one now

Yeah, but players like that don't hit the market often. Lazar's our best option and he needs this year to develop.

Saw Yakupov tonight at the Brookstreet. Didn't recognize the other player he was with but I don't follow the Oilers much. I guess the rest of the team went somewhere else to party, but these two stayed back and listened to some jazz.

Probably only until the puck bunnies arrived.

Well Grant did Jumbo-all. Kassian is less than useless because he drags down guys like Pageau and Grant who are forced to skate with him. There may be games later in the season when we need him, but not right now. We need secondary scoring until they can solve the problem with Michalek.

On the other hand, maybe they are just using Kassian wrong. Put him in front of the net.

Sens don't play until Wed... plenty of time to work on those things that need working on...
