No, you do worse. You post HF links here. Then you talk about not posting there.Ev wrote:I don't post on HF.
I think the sore point about the PK is that we see so much of it. A lot of it is unfair. With the Sens being a possession team they should (and are) be doing the majority of puck carrying, and therefore the majority of being chased, hooked, grabbed. Every time Karlsson goes up the ice there is a stick across his legs/waist, people try to grab him and so on. Same for a lot of others. If the other teams were getting called like the Sens are we surely wouldn't have such a PP deficit.Ev wrote:It's been three games and we get crap like this? http://www.silversevensens.com/ottawa_senators_2013-14_season/2013/10/11/4826214/ottawas-penalty-kill-is-terrible-how-can-it-be-improved
How is 4/16 so poor anyway? Teams have stretches like this all the time.
It's the silly season
I checked their schedule to date: 2 games against the Canucks.. 1 game each against Phoenix & the Rangers. Not really tough tough.. Colorado has had tougher games.. and I think their 4-0 start is more showing that the Sharks. After SJ play us on Saturday.. their next game is against the Blues. That's when you find out if they are for real.Ev wrote:The Sharks won't destroy us. They are due for a low scoring affair

Don't get me wrong.. they are playing very well.. but does their opponents come into play.
Colorado has played the Ducks, Preds (not much there - can't score) Leafs & Bruins. Much tougher.
Leafs have played..the Habs, Flyers, Sens, Avs (who they lost to) and the Preds.. Some easy games there..
Sens have played, Buff (not much about that team), Leafs, LA.. (1 easy game)
Tomorrow night will be very tough and could get ugly if they don't come out flying and stay out of the bloody penalty box..

They seem to only be obvious in one direction. Going by the book Karlsson would be drawing a penalty on nearly every zone exit. Go back about 10 years and the Sens had the most skilled team in the league (on paper). Every time Hossa carried the puck he had sticks and gloves all over him, and he was expected to play through it. Yet as soon as he touched the opposing player after finally losing the puck due to all the grabbing/tugging/hooking he got whistled down for it. It's like the refs were trying to make it a level playing field.spader wrote:wprager wrote:I think the sore point about the PK is that we see so much of it. A lot of it is unfair. If the Sens weren't taking so many obvious penalties, they wouldn't get called.
You like it this much?SpezDispenser wrote: I like this smiley lol.
Binghamton Senators @BSens_Hockey
#BSens go a man down for the 12th time tonight with just over three mins to go... Schneider takes a seat for the Sens

I thought he had one the other night as well, but the box score shows these as his 1st and 2nd. Must have taken that first one away.shabbs wrote:Klinkhammer with 2 goals tonight...
I liked his game when he was with us as well. Nothing that isn't relatively easy to replace, but still, he works hard and can produce some offence.shabbs wrote:Klinkhammer with 2 goals tonight...
