That's where we excelled last year though.  We basically live and die by Karlsson so let's hope he kills the West Coast.

Karlsson and goaltending yes. Depth also got the Sens through a lot of adversity so hopefully if Spezza is in and out of the lineup along with Michalek some newer players can come up and step in.

He hasn't looked ok since last year, even in his interviews he looks kinda unconfident. Someone on that line better get going to carry the other 2

Ryan is by all accounts out of shape and not comfortable in the new system and on the new line... understandable.

Michalek can barely bend his knee and his speed isn't what it used to be.

You're right though, one of those 3 is going to have to step up and probably only 2 have the ability to.

"By all accounts"?  You mean Shawn Simpson.  And where did you get that Michalek "can barely bend his knee"?  If anything, I'd say Michalek is out of shape.  

It's been said through the media that, yah Ryan isn't in shape. As for Michalek, the guy has lost a step and of course he is out of shape, he's spent the better part of 2 seasons off his leg because it's always injured. Say what you want about the top line but 2/3's of that line is very much injury prone.

People who worry about Ryan don't know the guy we got. This is how he plays the game.

Mark Stone has his arm in a sling. Robinson takes his place on the top line in practice. Goes from healthy scratch to top line.

Who's worried about the guy? The top line should be a worry, no question. 2/3's of it isn't skating or doesn't have the ability to skate right now and Ryan isn't a guy who burns people down the wing. Again, put a guy like Greening in there who will willingly get in on the forecheck and is extremely durable and things will probably start to click.

IMO which doesn't count for much MacLean is trying to put a square peg into a round hole with Michalek right now. Again IMO he won't last much longer on that line and they will switch it up before that road trip is over. If I'm wrong, awesome, means Michalek is getting going.

Wonder who the next call up is... I would guess Peterson if they are looking for a winger top play in the top 9 and get some PP time.
