I'm a bit disappointed if we replace michalek with greening. I for one was really looking forward to seeing what that line can do. IMO Greening isn't really a 1st line player but Milan's proven that when healthy he is... or can be. We traded for ryan to be able to put a top line out there. getting greening back up there might work but it's not optimizing your assets.Hoags wrote:Don't follow this logic, Michalek has proven has score 30+ goals in this league.NEELY wrote:From Bingo thread:
Greening is a much better option on that top line right now and fact is he is a better player than Michalek at this point. Might not have the same natural scoring touch but there are 2 guys beside him that do. Greening is a guy who have proved he can score 15-20 goals and do the dirty work up there.
Well they've had two full games. Time to cut bait.Flo The Action wrote:I'm a bit disappointed if we replace michalek with greening. Hoping Michalek's injuries magically go away won't happen. Ryan and Spezza will take time to figure each other out, there's no question but Michalek isn't a guy that is going to be A) here next year and B) a guy that is going to stay healthy and give the line any kind of consistency that they will need.Flo The Action wrote:I'm a bit disappointed if we replace michalek with greening. Best thing he could do is sit out the Kings game, give himself a full week to recover and play against San Jose while only missing 1 game. Doubt that happens but we'll see I guess.Ev wrote:My groin would hurt too if I was carrying those size of balls. Spezza will light up the Kings.
Wow! Spezza out, Michalek finished... Season over?!?!?!SpezDispenser wrote:Doubt it's serious. It's annoying though.
That's where we excelled last year though. We basically live and die by Karlsson so let's hope he kills the West Coast.SeawaySensFan wrote:Wow! Spezza out, Michalek finished... Season over?!?!?!SpezDispenser wrote:Doubt it's serious. It's annoying though.

Do you ever actually talk about hockey or just make comments based on what others say? I usually say opinions are like a**holes, everyone has one but this may not hold true.SeawaySensFan wrote:Wow! Karlsson and goaltending yes. Depth also got the Sens through a lot of adversity so hopefully if Spezza is in and out of the lineup along with Michalek some newer players can come up and step in.SpezDispenser wrote:That's where we excelled last year though. I don't see an answer to my question anywhere in there. Again: Season over?!?!?!NEELY wrote:Do you ever actually talk about hockey or just make comments based on what others say?
