You're saying gms don't know what they're doing at all?  Or don't have pro scouts?  DD was good for us whenever he played.

Dizzy is not a bad player but he is most known for his glass jaw. It may be unfair, but then so are the goals he scored (flukey, for the most part).

Get better pro scouts then. DD is a very effective 4th liner.

by now I expect Da costa to stick with the team for at least a week to see if a trade comes but Hoffman will be sent down. Pageau is got to be making the team, he's one of our best at this point. conacher as well.

Conacher and Pageau are not going anywhere. Da Costa is the #13 forward right now and he will be used where injuries come in.

How come they're piling on Zibanejad? I thought he showed the requisite amount of talent.

I think that's just because he's stuck with Greening and Condra. He's shown what he can do when moved up to better linemates. I can't read PMac's mind but you've got to think that he will eventually put him in a scoring position.

I don't mind he and Conacher together, but Conacher's probably starting with Turris and Mac.

Z-Bad still has a ways to go, but I think he'll develop better in the NHL than the AHL at this point...same with Pageau. The guy I think that could still use time in the AHL is Conacher, but he scored a bunch of goals in the preseason, so he's here to stay too.

Spezza says he should rejoin practice tomorrow and he feels good...should be fine for opener on Friday.

No waivers for Z-Bad...that's what made the decision.

As predicted here by some, and not by others, Ottawa will not have a 23-man roster.
