Not much money going out on that one.

There have been plenty of calls about Ottawa’s young talent, and Murray is not opposed to putting a package together for a proven scorer.
“The problem is, the names being mentioned (from other teams) are high-salaried guys that don’t fit,” Murray said. “I’m trying to live within the budget. The guys they’re willing to part with are $5-million, $6-million players.”

It doesn't sound like we are getting anyone making $5M+
I wonder who the players are that BM is referring to (Cammalleri is probably one of them).

Taylor Hall +? What's this?
NEELY wrote:If there is any truth to Zibanejad being traded to Van... the other Kassian better be on the way over with a d man like Bieksa. Kassian has some issues to sort out for sure and if he can figure things out on the ice he could be a huge, big time player for the Sens. That said... not buying that Zibanejad is being traded. Too valuable a player to be giving up unless you are getting back a legit, top line, can't miss winger like Eriksson or a player like Kassian with a 1st rounder added on top/top 4 D man. I get a move like that because the Sens are going to need a Kassian/Lucic type power forward to take the next step IMO, you just hope that maybe Noesen is that player if they don't make a move for him.

Now who in the hell do the Canucks have that is worth giving up Mika for -- that makes less than $5M.
