Conacher will be fine. Purcell is good. And he's a Newfie...reunite him with Greening!

I'm not saying he won't but if that's part of what it took to get Purcell it would be silly not to.

19pts in 42g and +9 as a rookie D-man is nothing to sneeze at

On a team near the bottom of the league in G/G. Yeah. Pretty "meh".

I wouldn't be surprised is Ryder actually did end up in Ottawa on a short term deal (2 years). Could be a solid guy to play with Spezza. Murray tried to sign him before but he went to Boston instead.

He's a snipper, that's it. He's there to score goals and if someone gets him the puck he will. He is what he is and he would provide something the Sens are missing.

Oh I know all about him, I've wanted him here for years, but this is about coming together as a unit in the regular season, then finding success in the post-season. Not sure how he had success in Boston's runs, but if he can find that in Ottawa then it's a slam-dunk, if not...it's very unnecessary.

He ended Montreal playoff dreams, he was solid throughout and scored some big goals.

What happened to him this year? I mean...he was invisible. The only guy who was more invisible was Gallagher when we started hitting him all the time.

Nothing... didn't have a guy to get him the puck and anyone who thought that Ryder would fit well into a trap system was kidding themselves. In Dallas he was a scoring fiend as well. Put him next to Spezza and see what he does.

The Bruins trap as well and he did well over there.

You know who's available for pretty cheap and needs a career rejuvenation?

$6M/year isn't cheap Smile but yeah I was thinking about that as well.

Just what we need, another short forward, we'd be becoming the Habs.

Pageau and Conacher (Alfie doesn't count) are the only players under 6'0 on the team. And they play pretty hard.

Cammalleri would play with 2 big dudes and he will receive nice passes on the PP. Doesn't even have to work that hard. Just get open for a one timer and he's pretty good at that.

Cammaleri - Spezza - Michalek
Greening - Turris - Alfredsson
Pageau - Zibanejad - Silfvergerg
Condra - Smith - Neil
Conacher

Looks pretty good to me
