I'm not sure it means a trade. If anything, it just means there's no trade involving a goalie right now, including Bishop, since he's been the one rumoured to be on the way out.

Honestly, I question the fact that Bishop was "told to buy a house."

Maybe it was just financial advice. The Murrays can't predict what type of offers they'll get down the road.

Yeah, I think it's one of those things where Bishop won't be leaving 'anytime soon', so they tell him to get (somewhat) comfortable.

Rent though, probably shouldn't buy.

there is no way they said that. Management only tells guys to get an apartment, and that's if they are in a hotel.

Or maybe is getting traded. That's more likely than Lehner at this point, I think. HARHAR.

They probably won't be trading Bishop in season, that's all. Sucks living out of a hotel room so that's all that means. Sign a 6 month lease somewhere and get comfortable.

I don't think the organization has any plans to trade Lehner at all and the plan is still to move Bishop. Fact of the matter is no teams are out of the playoffs at this point while at the same time a lot of teams don't have enough assets or are not willing to give them up at this point for a player. Too much unknown right now to make a move.

Yikes. Still tickets available for a Saturday night game vs. Toronto. I knew tickets would be a tough sell without Karlsson, Spezza, etc...but...ouch.
