There is no doubt teams are taking notice of this... I would stay far away if I was Murray now. That kind of thing is something that could let cancer into a room. My stance on ROR has def fipped flopped based just on that.

And he's not ROR's Agent like in a Lindros situation from what I've seen, so it may just be a case of "Ignore my Dad, let's get this deal done..." type of thing. Who knows.

I bet his agent is but lets face it, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. I used to rip Fisher for being a bible thumper and this isn't much better. The fact is the issue has now become an off ice issue with his family and probably will continue to be. Whether it is right or not it's a factor now.

We'll see if this was about money or not when ROR is finally traded and has to sign.

oh please... I get what he's trying to say but the man needs to back away! I really doubt the Avs don't recognize what ROR brings to the team. This is a case of a father seeing his son do well and belive he should have it all now because of it. unfortunately you have to show it on a more consistent base. sign a 2 year deal and prove that you deserve the pay day for your next contract. Pay your dues like everyone buddy!

I think O'Reilly Sr. has some issues. He sounds anti-medication based on one of his tweets, but I think he is in dire need of some, himself. The random capital letters, the disjointed thoughts -- that was an e-mail, where you can read and re-write stuff if it doesn't make sense. Something's not quite right. I half expected him to finish the e-mail off by saying that the Avs should trade for Erik Cole because they need a character player like Erik Cole and he would be a perfect fit because Ryan would want to play with Erik Cole so Colorado should trade for Erik Cole.

I'm not sure it means a trade. If anything, it just means there's no trade involving a goalie right now, including Bishop, since he's been the one rumoured to be on the way out.

Honestly, I question the fact that Bishop was "told to buy a house."

Maybe it was just financial advice. The Murrays can't predict what type of offers they'll get down the road.
