"Frankly if it comes down to everybody wants to play this game, we can play it just as well as anybody else, 'cause these guys are a dime a dozen and that's probably what they're worth per game. A dime. You can hear I'm not very pleased with the whole thing."

While not 100% fair to Cooke in this particular instance, I agree.

Did Eugene actually say some untruths? I don't think so...

I have only heard part of the interview on TSN this morning. He has a right to be very angry. This team was heading towards the playoffs this year again which means $$$ for Eugene.

Then Spezza has back issues.. made worse due to something that happened in the Pittsburgh game in Ottawa. Then they take out Karlsson... not an intentionally cut of the achilles tendon.. but I believe he was going to 'hurt' Karlsson in some other manner or try to hurt him anyway.

BTW during the Jets/Pens game last night... Dupuis hurt Enstrom -- either arm or shoulder.. not sure. Not a dirty hit.. but a hard hit. Seems those Pens don't hit to check but hit to hurt...

Karma's a Wing Dang Doodle... it will catch up to them.

Lots of crying over spilled milk here for sure, but I don't think anyone would seriously dispute that the Pens get the VIP treatment from the league, largely because they have the faces of the league, Crosby and Malkin, in their lineup. Malkin is a dirty player who should have been disciplined long ago.
