I'm excited to see Grant, Dziurzynski and Gryba play. This has been a pretty Dung season so it'd be nice to have pleasant surprises. I don't want Bingo games so I know nothing besides what's been written about them.

Nice to see Gryba finally get his chance, he's missed out before due to injury.

He was every right to be pissed, his $6.5M investment has been reduced to zero for this season by a scrub like Cooke.

Cooke shouldn't be in the league and Penguins have made excuses for him before until finally they couldn't and even then Mario came out looking like a hypocrite in the end.

I agree. Melnyk may say stupid things but I still prefer a passionate own who sticks up for organization rather than .. say a faceless organization like MLSE who only knows how to screw Canadians out of their money.

No thanks - and I'm a pretty big fan of Bogo. Cowen's much better defensively and might have some untapped offense.

i appreciate Melnyk sticking up for everyone, but wow he sounds really stupid with some of the things he said to Brent Wallace. Matt Cooke is worth a dime? Stop acting like he's George Parros. Then he's talking about how hard it is to cut through fat and skin and other stuff protecting the tendon? not really, Eug, it's pretty easy to get cut with skates.

also what the Diddle does he mean by this "3-year plan" that he always mentions? Like what does that even mean? Next year is Year 3, then what?

I hate agreeing with a penguins fan....but agreed. Melnyk has a right to say what he wants but it was stupid some of the things he said. I do agree Cooke should have been out of this league a long time ago.

I wish he directed more vitriol towards the p.o.s refs.
