I'm all for Lundin out and Wiercioch in.

Except a bunch of games. And Lehner's confidence. He's getting killed down there. 12 goals in two consecutive games and he was in for all of them. I Richardson upset with him for some reason? I can't understand how he left him in for 7 goals unless he was trying to teach him a lesson.

I would also put Regin in. Take whatever offensive help you can get.

Maybe the Devils can break him once and for all. I'm honestly tired of giving Regin chance after chance after chance. He's done nothing this year and got injured doing it. Even when he was healthy he was the smallest 6'2" forward we had.

No one gets why Richardson did that, but he better be careful. That's our top prospect, no need for that.

Hey, did you know that Jarmo Keklainen -- the Jackets' new GM -- played in the NHL? And he played 28 games -- half if his NHL career -- with the Senators, back in their second season in the league.

Yeah, he's got a great hockey head on his shoulders, the perfect guy to run the BJs.

He started coming around before the injury. And as much as he's sucking he's still a better option than dzuirzinksy or grant on that 3rd line.

I can't see them finishing any higher that 14th at this point and I stil think the bottom out in the East. But we will see. I'm not cheering for losses in the least but I'm def not upset when the Sens lose from here on out. It is what it is.

Seth Jones will look good on the Sens blue line in the future...

I know Lawson is injured. Some guy named Cheverie is the backup. I don't know the status on Lawson... but yeah Lehner is getting shelled. However they did win in a shootout today.

Might as well talk about ROR here...

If the Sens could offer up Zibanejad, a roster player (I would assume someone like Smith), and a 2nd next year or a their first on the condition that they make it to the conference finals, that's probably close to getting it done. Now, I would probably offer up Wiercioch or Greening if given the choice but I think something like that should be enough for Colorado to say yes.

ROR is a player the Sens need now and for the future.

Wow, that's too much. Z.Smith + Zibanejad + a conditional 1st? Why is ROR worth all of that?

Because he's a player the Sens will need if they want to win a cup. If you look at the best teams in the NHL year over year they are loaded down the middle. Spezza/Turris/ROR is about as good as it gets. You build a forward group around that.

Goaltending and defense for the most part is set.

wow I have to agree that ROR is an interesting option but smith, zib and a conditional 1st in by large an overpayment. they get a 3rd line center back(which is where they have ROR playing in the first place) and Zib which is a really good prospects. that is more then enough. a 3rd is all i'd add to that.

What does Ottawa need with 2 picks in the 27-61 range next year? They are going to add ANOTHER 1st this year and at some point the picks apon picks apon picks will get old quick. Adding Smith is probably the over payment portion I agree but giving them a Greening or Weircioch is not.

ROR IMO is going to be one of those players where you know when it matters, he's going to be there. He's also going to play against the other teams best players every night and still produce 45-50 points a year. It still amazes me how much people over value any kind of pick outside of the top 20 or so.
