Sounds like the PA is starting to crumble, lol, that didn't take too long. Happened before new years this time around.

Of course, the players are starting to feel the need for their paychecks.

Precisely.

In fairness, I believe shabbs was the one to predict a Monday puck drop.

I've been feeling the need for their paychecks for quite a while.

Love this comment:

Dear Owners,
For $5.25M a year, please also treat me like an 'animal'.

What a tool. Man...these players are so stupid it hurts to hear them talk.

Players have only missed 1 paycheck and get their escrow checks this month.

I doubt they will cave anytime soon.

When the season is on the line that's when people cave in.

What gives you that impression? I've not seen anything to suggest they're cracking. Fehr regularly updates his team with their current status. So nothing new there...

Just happens to have a conference call the day this comes out to update his players on nothing? Not buying it. It's to tell the players to stop talking, toe the company line, and wait until the owners crack... IMO anyways.

I believe they are already split basically down the middle so...

Meh. Not surprising after what came out from the weekend. The same could probably be said about the owners. I'm sure there are some that would be prepared to agree to one of the NHLPA's offers to get hockey going now.

I wonder if the NHLPA will target some of the owners that are not part of the CBA negotiations? To get "their" message across... without the Bettman/Daly filter applied?

That hits home hard...

C'mon guys... let's get this settled soon.

Piss in a bottle. Take it or leave it.
