I really wished I could of watched tortorella's face when the sens scored in overtime. how was it?

Tonight is the reason you resign Carkner for another 2 years. Like I have said a million times before he's a perfect #6, 7 D man and he turned the series around. Worth every second of that 5 min penalty.

Hope Alfi is alright as they will need him but they can play the rest of this series on pure emotion. Unreal team to be a fan of and they are only getting better!

Agreed on Carkner. I thought he should be resigned before tonight as he has been battling knee issues all year.

I absolutely love what he did tonight.

Absolutely. He's not the perfect player but he's a guy that can play 10 mins a night and not hurt the team while filling a very specific role. That's why Lee was dealt. Carkner is 100% the definition of a team player.

Konopka showed his worth tonight as well. These are the games where you figure out who should be back and who shouldn't. I would take Konopka 100 times out of 99 over Daugavins. Like Carkner, he's the perfect 13th forward.

I'm not going to say daug over konopka but I think we should bring back daug no question about it. I think he's only gonna get better with another season and he's already pretty good on the PK. he's the type of player we need on the 3rd or 4rt line.

Daugavins is the run of the mil 4th line tweener. Nothing special and does nothing someone else with a way bigger future or role can't do. O'Brien has put himself into the NHL and will get a 1 way next year as he's the better player.

I assume it'll be Daug that draws in if Alfie is injured. Or will it be a black ace...

I also LOVE that Neil fell on McDonaugh's head after he scored. First McD is writhing in pain from blocking the shot - which is good news anyway - then he gets 240 pounds of knee on the back of his head while it's mashed into the ice.

Love this Dung. Clapping

Neil isn't 240, not even close, but Boyle is, and it was Boyle who fell all over McDonagh.

220, whatever he is, that couldn't have felt good.
