Looks like the news is better rather than worse ?

Apparently it's his "small" finger as well, so less important than a "big" finger. And it's on his blocker hand...as long as he can grip his stick, this shouldn't (hopefully) affect his confidence going forward.

Or, we can trade Karlsson, Spezza, and a 1st for Rask and Schneider, just for insurance.

If his tendon coiled like Strach's, I can't imagine he'll be gripping any sticks for the next little while.

If his wife doesn't even cook for him I imagine he has to grip sticks quite a bit.

Same guy that said Anderson would be a disater in Ottawa? Same guy that said Emery was going to be lights out coming back from the hip?

He's a bitter Avs fan in Colorado, even then I don't recall him saying Anderson will be a disaster just that we should have a better #2 than Auld to challenge him, which is true.

he siad it last year after he was traded. Anyways, that guy has little credibility.

Way more credible than anyone here. He's usually bang on. A little nutty but bang on. He said Anderson is the streakiest goalie in the league, and he is right.

You should be careful with superlatives, but Anderson is definitely streaky. Streakiest? I'd have trouble making that claim.

I'm not suggesting you're wrong, but what "bang-on" claims has he made? I'm just wondering what you're basing your opinion on.

He is usually bang-on in regards to what goalies are sleepers, who will struggle, etc. You'd have to visit his site to see. He has a neat feature now called the Starting Goalie Rater Index (or something to that effect) that rate every goalie every single night in the NHL, and lets you know his hunches on how they will perform that night.

I'm not sure if he said Andy is the streakiest, but something along the lines of when he's hot he's one of the best, when he's cold avoid at all costs.

Hmmm... I hope that is good news. A cut tendon is usually pretty serious. Glad to hear they are optimistic.
