I find itvery hard to deal with pull down menus where I want to select one of the options. Anyone have a tip?

Do you mean on a web page? Or in an app? What kind of issues? I simply tap on it, the selections come up and then I tap the one I want. If there are a lot to choose from you can scroll and then tap.

I can't scroll then tap, the second I take my finger off to scroll down, it loads the page I had my finger on in the first place.

When you initially pull the menu down, are you keeping your finger on the screen?

I try to, but I don't know how really. When I let go of the screen, it reloads the page I'm on.

You don't need to keep it on the screen, just a quick tap will trigger it. Then flick the screen to scroll. The only time you need to keep your finger on the screen is if you are dragging something or scrolling in a web page etc....

This is the same for iPad and PlayBook...

Okay, I'll try it again when I get home.

When you get home? You mean you don't have it with you?

after a hard reset, still slow as shizzit. I've read around the net that some users are experiencing this with PBOS 2.0. Maybe it has something to do with the 64GB memory. The other thing it was doing was dropping the Bluetooth connection to my 9700. "attempting to connect to your smartphone.....connection failed....please try again".

I guess I got a lemon.

I'm returning it.

I *had* an Ipad 1 and sold it. So I'll probably get an Ipad 2 since people are selling them in droves to get the 3.

What would it cost per month for a plan?

For a BlackBerry? Those rates are all posted on the carrier's websites and it will depend on what "size" you get. When I'm with my PlayBook, I'm usually around a wifi source so it's never been an issue. I have bridged it a few times to get some info from the net but outside of that, I don't think I could justify a tablet with it's own data plan unless it was stoopid cheap.

There's a new PlayBook coming out this year that has 4G wireless data capabilities.

Apple "encourages" the plan providers to cap their charges at $15, $30 fixed, no contract for the 3g iPad.

The data plans for LTE devices are the same... so the 4G PlayBook and 4G iPad will be no different... BOOM.
