Can you imagine paying to see a scoreboard and ending up having to watch an ice hockey match?!?!?! Ahhhhh! Ahhhhh!

Sucks about Regin, but he's turned into a band-aid, big time. Kinda like Crosby, Regin's proving he just can't take a hit without getting injured.

It's a big shame, because he has looked like a very complete player at times.

The thing about Butler getting his shot is that he's ended up getting a shot in a lot of these games. All it takes is a bad shift from Condra or Greening, really, and he will get a sniff on one of the top lines.

As mentioned, though - he's done very little when he's gotten those opportunities. Condra and Greening keep getting that time because they've been better than him at everything.

Butler has been awful. He was getting into scoring position much more often last year.

This year plays die on his stick, he just loses the puck and nothing happens as play goes the other way.

We`re running with 11 forwards, I`m sure the lines will look al over the place at one point.

On a side note: How's 1.016 point per game career guy doing? Formerly known as .98 Points per game guy btw.

Thoughts?

Neither 1.016 or .98 Points per game are a point per game.

At least you didn't have to be sent back down to Bingo to get it done.

We should break down his PPG between playoff-bound teams and losers. Then break his point production down by in-game categories such as tied, behind by one or two, ahead by one or two, behind by three or more, ahead by three or more, then normalize that to 60 minutes to get situational PPG numbers. Then we should ... get a life.

According to zap2it.com, on Videotron digital, it's on 661 SNEHD and 81 SNE -- aren't those SportsNet East?
