The Sens keep rollin'. There were a couple close calls with Filatov taking a skate to the face and Karlsson getting smoked. Both appear to be fine. The Sens probably didn't deserve the win but they need to stock pile a few of those to make it in to the playoffs.

Next up is the Dallas Stars who have struggled of late going 3-6-1 in their last ten games. This will be a bit tougher test than the Jets so if they hope to win this one they'll likely need better execution of their game plan. With Kuba doubtful for the game tonight it will be made that much tougher.

Is Carkner not yet ready? I thought he was 5 days out couple of games ago?

Filatov's nose not completely broken (X-Rays show a fracture -- isn't that "broken"?) and he expects to play tonight.

MacLean hasn't ruled out Carkner but says it's more likely to be Lee. Neil is also close but not ready yet.

Well, if they can win tonight or even grab a point I would say that the longest stretch of hockey for the Sens all year will be a complete success. Hopefully they can keep it going.

Last time the Sens played in Dallas Spezza had a hat-trick, but the Sens lost 5-4. Spezza doesn't need more hats as much as the Sens need the win, so ... I'll still take a hat-trick but a different final score.
