Except he seems to agree with every call/non-call that goes against the Sens.
Nono Prags, you wanted this.
I'd ask you to explain, but what's the point, really.
I mean the big hits gone, people getting hurt because they have their head down and aren't aware, so on. Not just you but the people who were crying bloody murder everytime someone got hit in the head. This is what has happened to the game so don't cry.

Oh yeah? The same as I keep getting ragged on for correcting people's grammar when it's been probably over a year that I'd done it. And besides some people should either learn to write well or get thicker skin. I frequent another forum where grammar and spelling mistakes are pointed out quite frequently and people just grin and bear it -- it's like they know that, if it bothers them, *they* are the ones that should do something about it.

Oh, I agree wholeheartedly that the reason we have a concussion epidemic is because the players are expecting the rules to protect them. I still want dirty hits out of the game, and that includes hits from behind and elbows/shoulders to the head. It also includes late hits -- the guy is not admiring his pass, he is no-longer in possession of the puck and therefore not fair game. The intent should be to separate the player from the puck, and if the puck is no-longer there then there is no excuse. I realize they call it finishing your hits, and I hate fly-bys as much as anyone, but certain players -- or certain teams, even -- take it over the line. One second should be more than enough time to stop or slow down or veer off. I have no idea when it became 3 seconds.
Car accidents and deaths are a problem because driving is dangerous. There's no way to reduce accidents or deaths unless you stop driving. The biggest problem is that cars are too fast.NEELY wrote:Concussions are a problem because the game in dangerous. Nothing will change that unless people stop playing hockey. Unbelievable call.
Then they kick in a powerplaygoal and it counts.
