Turris with a game winning assist in each of his two games with the Sens thus far. Nice start.

Except he seems to agree with every call/non-call that goes against the Sens.

Nono Prags, you wanted this.

I'd ask you to explain, but what's the point, really.

I mean the big hits gone, people getting hurt because they have their head down and aren't aware, so on. Not just you but the people who were crying bloody murder everytime someone got hit in the head. This is what has happened to the game so don't cry.

Oh, I agree wholeheartedly that the reason we have a concussion epidemic is because the players are expecting the rules to protect them. I still want dirty hits out of the game, and that includes hits from behind and elbows/shoulders to the head. It also includes late hits -- the guy is not admiring his pass, he is no-longer in possession of the puck and therefore not fair game. The intent should be to separate the player from the puck, and if the puck is no-longer there then there is no excuse. I realize they call it finishing your hits, and I hate fly-bys as much as anyone, but certain players -- or certain teams, even -- take it over the line. One second should be more than enough time to stop or slow down or veer off. I have no idea when it became 3 seconds.

Oh yeah? The same as I keep getting ragged on for correcting people's grammar when it's been probably over a year that I'd done it. And besides some people should either learn to write well or get thicker skin. I frequent another forum where grammar and spelling mistakes are pointed out quite frequently and people just grin and bear it -- it's like they know that, if it bothers them, *they* are the ones that should do something about it.

Hey man I like it when you do that. I do that as well.

Who said Alfedsson looked old? 16 points in 11 games! Karlsson is getting dangerously close to a PPG pace -- 33 in 35. A 3-point game against Carolina would give him a PPG going into the Christmas break. And his agent is loving it.

Concussions are a problem because the game in dangerous. Nothing will change that unless people stop playing hockey. The biggest problem is the game is just way too fast.

And Karlsson is now 0 in the plus/minus category.

Car accidents and deaths are a problem because driving is dangerous. There's no way to reduce accidents or deaths unless you stop driving. The biggest problem is that cars are too fast.

Unbelievable call.

Then they kick in a powerplaygoal and it counts.

Brooooootal.
Brutal call on Foligno, but that goal was not a kick, it was a redirect.

Honestly, I didn't watch the replay. Too busy trying to register my outrage on the Foligno call using my tablet - and I'm not used to the touchscreen, so it takes a little more concentration than it should.

Was going by what I heard Potvin say, which in hindsight is never a good idea.

Exactly. They should slow down the game though. The idea of holding up a forechecker isn't a bad thing, that was basically what you learned from day 1 as a D man in peewee, "hold up the forechecker and protect yoru partner".

Oh, and Craig Anderson said that Jason Garrison cracked his mask...if there was any doubt left about how hard his shot is.

The Sens are trying to have Foligno's game misconduct rescinded.

I'm sure the refs will remember this and justifiably punish the Sens for years after the justifiable punishment period ends for Clouston's complaining in 2016.
