I'll have to try those, usually we go to all you can eat places or just grab a tray or two at T&T.

It's pretty pricey here and it's still a bit hard to eat here after eating sushi in Japan.

I'm not big on nori so I don't like some of the sushi out there (like the hand rolls). I prefer sashimi and nigiri sushi.

You also need to take a road trip to get discounted premium subs at Subway. What a clip job.

Did Marshy's ever have $5 footlongs? That was probably why they failed...

I think Marshy charged about 5 bucks per fry. True story.

What a rip!

Vineyards in the market in Ottawa charges $10 for their fries and you get a steak!

Now that is a sound business model.

And their Scotch selection is pretty fair too.

Not for fries. A fry.

The Pizza Sub is the premiumest, tastiest, deliciousest Sub a man could want. It is $5. As far as things that are $5, it is the best.

Now if only I could choke Denis Potvin with a pizza sub.

Had an "Angus Third Pounder" at McDonald's yesterday (well actually I had two). Delicious! It is one big burger. And everything seemed of a higher quality than McDonald's normally supplies. The bacon, pickles, onions...everything was just...better. Of course, that could be the big hangover that I had at the time talking, but it was definitely still a delicious burger!

And the sandwich is 50% off as well, but I think that deal ends today... Crying

I must admit I had one of those Angus burgers and thought they were quite excellent. I plan to have a combo for lunch since I'll be rockin' the First Choice Hair Cutter's just across the street at lunch. :D

Why we pay for food so much here in Canada is beyond me. You can get 50 Chicken McNuggets for $10 there, we get 10 for that price.

Yep, paying way more here DOES suck. And it's not just the fast food. Go to any decent sit-down restaurant in the US, and you can have a HUGE, good meal for under $10. Go to a restaurant here and you're lucky to get a decent entrée that isn't over $20 including tax.

But then Americans are all fat and stupid. So I guess there's a tradeoff.
