somebody tell me how this makes sense.

At Big Rig you can get a medium "Quattro Carne" pizza, with peperroni, bacon, sausage, and salai, for $22.75. You can also get a 7 topping "Big Rig Classic" for the same price.

BUT if you want a medium pepperoni pizza ($18.75) with bacon and sausage added on (as an example, you can get any topping added on), those extras are $4.95 each, making the pizza $28.65 in total.

I can explain it. Big Rig is a rip off. $4.95 is insane for extra toppings. Also, I don't really like the pizza there. Only tried it once, but it was just ok.

Heh. You should order one of each and then compare them.

I would think if you did order a Pepperoni with all those toppings, they'd flip it to a Big Rig Classic.

Basically a pizza with 4 meat toppings only has as much meat as two separately ordered toppings. And spader is also right -- $4.95 is extortion.

Personally, I've never been, and having hear all this negativity, I'll never go.

Everything I've heard about Big Rig is that it's mediocre and overpriced.

Just a little? You can get a delicious foot-long sandwich (select varieties) at Subway for the price of adding a topping to your pizza at Big Rig. You know who used to have good prices? That Marshy's restaurant. I wonder if it's still around.

I apologize to Big Rig. The pizza is pretty good.

i now understand their prices though...

The food at Big Rig is good but nothing really special about it either... over priced too.

we got a Quattro Carne...I think there's like 2 pieces of bacon on it. Diddle you Big Rig. Tastes good though...

No it was Sunday afternoon, not late. And, yes, I had it once before (only once because I don't live in Barrhaven, but I have activities there often enough -- I should move, really).
